Im getting my project engine in the new year but im trying to put together a spec list for my 998 turbo conversion. So for my spec list is as follows:

you cant blow through webers, there is a dellorto that could be blown through though... |

11cc 998 pistons? Do these even exist? I've never had more than 6cc ones Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

Facet pump will be wank all use for turbo. You need a high pressure fuel injection pump. Also, it's impossible to determine if a CR is too low or not if you don't state what boost you plan to run.

I use flat topped pistons and an unskimmed 12G295 head to give 9:1 compression.

no you can't use a weber, but you can use delorttos equivelant if you buy the turbo seal and gasket kit for them. on booosttt |

You can use a Weber if you put it in a box and pressurise the box (like the tickford Capri). But if you just blow through it you'll end up with petrol everywhere.

You have to seal the throttle spindle to stop the fuel coming out under pressure, putting it in a pressurised box exerts the same pressure inside and outside the carb so no fuel loss
I seriously doubt it! |

Basically Delortto developed a carb for turbo use (ala Esprit Turbo). I presume that you can buy a kit of seals to make the carb suitable for a turbo application.

inlet plenum across the face of the inlet sealed to the 2 inlet trumpets and the float bowl breather ,made a cap for the jet chamber and boosted that too ,left the spindles and had no probs ,pics when i get back in january .
