Dont trust the man.

After over two years since ordering parts from him and only getting part of my order 15 months ago.. my patience has run out. Promise after promise and the man still cannot deliver.
I had the "it must of got lost in the post" excuse aswell!

Had a friend visit him since I live half way around the world.. He agreed to refund me... And now no money still and no response from emails and phone messages.

Dont know how many people he has done this to but please be careful.

Barter parts...buy the 'bible'...use a local firm for machining...ask the right questions on TM... is the only way forward :)

Never got anything. Danboy oferd to help. He say he got almoust all the parts. And now Danboy wont write to me.

Cheers Guys... I just wish I could go down there but I'm in Bahrain so abit far away.

He kept telling me that almost all my parts were ready and was waiting for others... When my friend went down there it turned out that he had sold the bits to somebody else for an engine build. No shame at all...

Dont even bother trying to get a manifold from him. Just go direct to the manufacturer.

I wish I had sent the money to somebody like JohnK...

I really am surprised people still go to morspeed, especially for K projects!!
As far Ive know specialist components have a faultless record with supplying parts and from my personel experience see no need to go elsewhere.

Been there got the T shirt.

I think Simon has very poor stock control and that seems to be the source of his problems.

He sells person A a kit then finds that X is missing so robs that from person B's kit. Person B phones up to chase his parts, Simon looks round finds X is missing so orders more X and doesn't send the kit. Person C phones up and the process starts again.

I think it is called greed.


I just hope he knows how to keep track of his bank account.

ive never dealt with morespeed but i honestly cant believe all the stories ive heard that all have the same ending. how the bloody hell is he getting away with it.

no longer a series, but still 1.3 turbo.

Sounds like incompetence blended with a dash of ignorance and very poor customer relations to me.I wonder if he knows how many people he seems to have pissed off and how this is affecting his business ?

hi, guys just to give a aposing veiw, Morspeed has done all my engine work and its all very good work and what i think is a good price. He is a pain and require chasing up all the time. I am lucky that its only 20mins down the road from me to go and harrass in person.
I dropped my engine off in october and asked for it to be done for March.. gave long lead time but its already done and hes running up on the dyno for free, which is nice though with out the supercharger.
I have adviced him to get a busty blond to answer the phones and order parts but not happend yet.

P.s. please don't abuse me for this.

When i have used him not had bad service, But i am able to go down and ask him face to face if my parts are done! However i mainly use MED for parts now you get most things next day!
