Quick question, on a ford sensor there is number 1 and number 2

i have a ford cable, the number 1 has a blue with a green trace and the number 2 has a blue with a yellow trace

Now is number 2 +ve and 1 -ve? thats what i guessed from the net trawling ive done

My last 2 wires before i give the old girl a whirl!!

ian put a dvm accorss the wires and wave something metal in front of the sensor, if you get a postive voltage you have the wires the correct way.

From what i can find on the net Blue/Green = Neg and Blue/Yellow = Pos.

But it shouldn't hurt if you get them backwards just wont fire.

Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the the universe.
