CARDIFF MINI CLUB’S – MINI IN THE CITY 2006

(SPONSORED BY RCL COATINGS LTD. BRIDGEND)

For the fourth year running Cardiff Mini Club are holding their Summer Mini show and cruise, and this year it will be held on Sunday 30th July.

For 2006 the event moves into the City Centre outside one of Wales most famous landmarks, the City Hall in Cardiffs Civic Centre.

The day will consist of a static display open to the public outside City Hall, followed by a Mini cruise taking in the Cardiff Bay Barrage, Penarth waterfront, the Vale of Glamorgan, Cardiff City Centre and finishing at the Wharf pub in Cardiff Bay.

Cars need to be on site between 10am and noon (early arrivers generally get a better parking space !).

The mini cruise will commence at 1pm and will end at the Wharf pub at around 4pm.

Over the years we have had up to 130 minis attend, a mix of both classic and new Mini, with clubs from Wales, the Midlands and the South West attending.

The day will raise funds for local childrens charity, Ty-Hafan.

Advance entry will be £4 per Mini (£5 on the day) and there will be a raffle with proceeds going to charity.

We ask that all participants bring an oil drip mat regardless of whether they have old or new minis (old piece of carpet etc.)

Full details including directions and an advance entry form are available from cardiffminiclub.org.uk.
