Due to a bit of a cock up with the Car Club the Metro (me) will be racing on the SUNDAY now. We are going to be racing with the Miglias with a split grid, they start first and we go 20 seconds after.

I AM going to be driving very very hard to catch some of the Miglias and want another lap record under my belt.

TM's own ENDAF OWEN is racing in the same race.

Ok, Silverstone again.Sat 24th June

The International circuit this time. It is the MG festival, also a round of the Mini Miglias and se7ens on the same day..cool!

In the Metro race we invite miglias to race with us so should be fun.

My first race was at Silverstone, my local track, i plan to drive very hard and to gain a lap record and get in before a Miglia at least. They have the weight and tyre advantage.

This should be a great days racing with 18, yes 18 races through the day.

Hope to see many of you there.

Sorry chap and chappesses.

The event is over 3 days, free practice on Friday and i am racing on the saturday.

It will not be the full Miglis line up racing with us Metros, just the ones that want an extra race for practice.

I have just read all the bumf and it seams the 18 races are over the 2 days, Miglias and Se7ens are racing on the Sunday.

Did'nt mean to mislead you.

how about camping over at the circuit on the Saturday night?

Dan, according to the programme it is 11.55 to 12.30 for the Miglias and Metros together.

I had a fantastic weekend at Silvertsone, I left home early hours Thursday morning, and got home late Sunday night.

here are some pics, got some good in car footage of JF's qualifing session, and Endaf's practice. Unfortunetly Numb nuts Endaf forgot to start the video camera for the race!!

I met a the guy who desinged the hi-lo's very nice guy!! he also invented Monopoly too!

He was very chuffed to see the miglia running pukka hi-lo's!

I'll leave Jon to talk you through the metro's but I can seay I saw some awsome driving by Jon.

Enda'f got on ok in the miglia. He sat in the car for the first time ever on the Friday, and was getting in some quick times. Unfortunetly he was not use to the box in the car and missed third gear, this buzzed the engine, and bent two valves! We quickly whipped the head off, replaced the valves, he went back out, and got 1.39, which was a good enough time to put him 4th on the grid. Endaf got upto 3rd in the race, was going for 2nd place when fuel starvation kicked in, and he dropped to 6th in the last 50 yards!!! A big price to pay for miss calcualting the correct amount of fuel. Still not a bad result as Endaf has not been in a miglia for a few years now, and the tyres he was using where 3 years old!

In a nutshell i got punted off by a Miglia in qualifying. Plenty of body damage and a sore neck. The car is already in the body shop.

The damage was only cosmetic and drove as good as usual after the incodent.

I qualified 2nd out of the Metro and finnished 3rd.

gave Endaf and Bill Sollis and good run for there money on the faster parts of the circuit but they gain through the twisties!..GIVE ME SOME SLICKS!!!

I will right the full bollocks on my website soon.

Iain, i tell you following a Miglia at 120 mph at braking realy hard,changing from 4th to 2nd all sideways and wheels lifting is realy entertaining...
