So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

yeah, will have a video done as soon as we tweak the plug in lap top thingamy in & have a little play, it`s actually running with a program from my friends twin cam toyota 1800cc, 20valve engine in it at the moment, how`s that????!!!!!! (yeah you heard it, i built him an 1800cc version of the 20valve toyota donk---> cool hey? *smiley* )

Only one little oil dribble to be seen from one of the oil drains from the head (easy fixed) but apart from that, no other problems so far (touch my woody *smiley* )

cheers all, happy as a pig in sh!t!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Most will use the standard cams, they are something like a 286 i believe.

However there is an engine builder who has custom billet cams made as well as reprofiling orginal cams. This however introduces the problem of having to re shim the followers, which on the 16valve head means a new complete new bucket, and at £7 a throw X 16, pretty expensive, hence why most will use the standard cams unless of course you're not short on cash *wink*

video of start up on the floor is here--->

http://www.eengoedidee.nl/parsefiles/?type...nkyfirstrun.wmv

& yes, ign timing was a bit retarded (like me) & fuel wasn`t right either being that the computer was straight out of a friends 1800cc 20valve toyota

The whole donk is now in one of my old scabby cooper "S"`s & will be driving it around by this weekend, soon to be fitted inbto the Monaco fastback with the turbo & fully sequential Autronic engine management system *smiley*

YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

what`s all your thoughts then???

come on,,,i can take criticism *smiley*

All I can say is that it made my innerds go all funny.

Envey is not a big enough word.

Top drawer stuff.

Now get the turbo on it.

Don't know of many 16valve turbo A series engines.
