was talking to a friend of mine yesterday about putting fuel injection on my turbo. We looked through the posts on here to get some ideas. What we couldnt see is why dont we just use the late cooper s twin port injection set up but use the megasquirt management!
it may b small but it purfectly formed

Megasquirt doesn't currently have the capability to control the TPI setup the way it needs to be controlled. The hardware is the easy part. -Tyler

Well, actually, there is an experimental version of Megasquirt that can be used to control TPI setup or any other port-injection setup. It's experimental and there are limitations but it can be used to control injection and test a setup. Further development will come as more experimentation is done. |

TurboDave, My comment was actually addressed at mrbell. It is NOT easy but after you look at it for a while and discuss it and relook at it and think about it some more then it starts to make sense. And then you realise that what you thought you understood is different from what you thought and you discuss it some more and rethink about it. And then eventually you say, well of course, that's easy. Until the next discussion... :) I meant there's nothing particularly tricky about the EFI hardware(fuel pumps, intake, injectors). It's the software that is different from everything else available. -Tyler
