Hiya,

I have a crank sensor from a rover 75, I assume that it's the same pinout as all the other rover crank sensors including the Mpi mini, does anyone know the pinout?

If it helps pin 1 has a black wire, pin2 a yellow wire and pin 3 a green wire,

Also will the + feed to theis sensor be 5 or 12 volts?

Oh also the sensor has a BMW mark on it.

3 wire = hall effect sensor
2 wire = magnetic which is what most of the aftermarket ecus use

you need a hall effect sensor for wheel speed of cam sensor
