Ok, thought there wasn't much in it.
I've spent a day prepping an 8v head today (this is head No2, which I'm contemplating gas flowing, fitting bigger valves etc - essentially because I'm someone who just can't leave anything alone if I think I can improve it...
Saw somewhere on the net that TurboPhil has been doing this with some success, maybe I'll do some searching. Head no1 is defo staying original, non turbo runabout. There is a 16V head on the way here from Germany, which might end up on a 970 block, but that's a long way off.
