i'm fitting a saab style gt17 which is water cooled using a fusion fabs. manifold so i dont need to mince the bulkhead but am confused about how to plumb this in any suggestions. would going from head through manifold, then turbo and then to sandwich plate above thermostat work. head is dry decked so flow should be ok. was then thinking of second sandwich plate below stat. for heater supply with later style control valve inline and back to bottom hose for heater and to act as bypass. thoughts?

I'm running mine though the heater matrix obviously don't shut the heater valve off. It don't get hot in the car. Or you could do the same and not have the heater matrix

You can also use the tapped drain plug on the back of the block (if you have one) to feed water to the turbo and then run a hose to a sandwich plate below the thermostat. It will self-circulate as well, which will help dissipate heat once the engine is turned off.

Not knowing your coolant layout currently, Your best bet is from the heater tap on the head to the turbo then from the turbo and T in before the pump. Just remember to clock the turbo as such to allow water to flow after shut down. It's detailed on the Garrett website.
