Info on SC12 Supercharger on 1380

Just looking for some help ( I know it’s a supercharger) I’ve found an SC12 supercharger kit which I believe were made in Aus for Mini’s. Does anyone have one fitted and also is it suitable for a 1380cc road car ?

I’ve had a look over the forums but not much info around on the bigger size engine suitability. Looking at power around 120-130bhp at flywheel.

My spec
1380cc
Minispares MSE 4 head
AC Dodd RS cam
1.5 minispares forged rockers
MED ST2 pre verto clutch
Rebuilt gearbox with X Pin diff


I do have one of the original VMax m45 supercharger kits but it seems they have a fair few flaws including heat build up, carb icing and fuel dripping out the air filter from my experience.

It will be fine for a 1380 obviously you will need to get the compression down a bit.
The newer vmax kit is better. You can get a carb heater to help with carb icing.

There are a couple of posts on here using that supercharger. Have a search on the search bar I found it works better if you search using a PC / laptop
