Is it still worth doing doing the 5/16 bolt mod between engine and box?

I think Dave used to sell some uprated cap-heads and hardened washers. I used to run those. If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

I just used good grade 1/4unf bolts and nice sized washers all was good 👌

I swapped to bi-hex bolts the same as used on the jet pipes of gas turbine engines due to access on tightening. Edited by Mr Joshua on 20th Sep, 2021. Own the day

I wasn't aware of this, makes complete sense. Will add to the list next time there's a need to split block and box. Always learning! |

Why? How much force can there be between those 2 that it needs additional strength.?? you can do anything if you set your mind to it...
