I'm building up my Metro Turbo engine (still using original pistons).
Any real world benefit in using oil jets?
I won't be running insane boost (famous last words).

under crown cooling jets, absolutely yes in most cases

although in a mini with a gearbox in the sump throwing oil up and under 50bhp per piston on a good build maybe not needed so much

Most absolutely do not need them. Some may.
