Most of the spec and lots of pictures on this fantastic site and thanks to the wisdom of this forum, so many jobs on my mini are so much easier like the welded bolts on the exhaust clamp and countless other tricks.

The car needs work now, it needs a respray and a fair amount of bodywork and possibly structural welding who knows, I havnt touched it for years until I took the head off to sell the engine (details of that can be found in my engine build forsale) everything is still here and just needs looking at and a bit of fettling and fitting after a nice respray. Though it still needs money putting into it.

I have had the car I think 14 years so there's some questionable efforts from my youth in places but everything can be put right.

I am asking £3500 if it Goes in the next two weeks. If you are interested then let me know and you can look at the car and make your own mind up. Located in bradford West Yorkshire.

Thanks! Dan

Copied from my other thread...

I have decided to sell up all of my turbo A-series stuff that I have collected and put together, and enjoyed thoroughly over the years but only ran with this final spec for a couple of months or even weeks before I realised I had not fitted the valve stem seals properly it was too late and the engine started to rattle so I parked it up 2/3 years ago and because of a new career choice I really need to free funds up.

Once the engine is out of the car I will know better, what is there but I only have my busy memory at the moment.

And it's getting filled back up with this https://youtu.be/Iy48x11Iefc
(Video with this head but before megajolt and intercooler)

And pictures can be found here (I will up date during disassembly) - http://www.turbominis.co.uk/car/105/photos/1/

So there is...

Benross head- enlarged ports and enlarged chambers with larger valves (I just don't remember the figures of any of it)- the valve stem seals have come unseated so does need a bit of attention and was down to my own error as I built the head up after benross machine work. - to be clear this just needs new stem seals. - what a difference in power this head made to my engine! - but do not just fit this head!! The seals must be fitted properly.

Megajolt (MAP type + hard cut Rev limiter) with machined damper and crank position sensor mount and edis coil, plugs/ leads and home made harness and machined A+ dizzy plug etc. (I never got the rev counter to work but even straight off the edis mine wouldn't work so I don't think the MJ is at fault but I am being honest.

Nic Stainless steel plenum chamber with dump valve take off / dump valve and Intercooler including blue silicone and stainless steel pipes and clips and home made brackets to fit the intercooler (I think it is a series 1 escort turbo but I am unsure now)

Gearbox - rebuilt by Steven brier and standard other than center oil pickup pipe and cross pin diff I don't remember the ratios but i did go for a shorter final drive and it was very noticeable in a good way!

Possible spares/repairs..

T3 exhaust elbow opened up inside to match 2" system.(previously repaired) this made a big difference to low end boost but the repair may not last?

Turbo carb I had this rebuilt by a very reputable classic car restorer and it was fantastic for a while then the petrol smell came back so maybe needs attention but is in very good condition

T3 turbo and manifold honestly I don't know if the smoke was just from the valve stems seals or the turbo itself so this is sold as unknown but it may well be absolutely fine.

1275 GT - A+ block with crank/ rods and turbo pistons (I can't guarantee the rods and crank are turbo items, it's was quite a while ago but I think they are) and N/A MG metro cam and center main strap, rebuilt not long before it was taken off of the road, unfortunately it burnt a lot of oil off past the valve stem seals and it got a little low, the engine developed a tapping noise and was taken off the road and left since then so sold as needing a rebuild but it could just be a new set of shells and an oil pump? It could need a full rebuild so it's a bit of a gamble, it was running perfect, bar the rattle. It was the smoothest a-series I had ever experienced. Though I know megajolt had a lot to do with that! Almost everything was new within the last few thousand miles including rings, shells and duplex timing gear - to say I was upset is an understatement!!
