Hey, as a Metro turbo may not be the best kit on an 1100 cc engine I kept my eyes open for alternatives.

Found one nice little Honeywell turbo kit in our test center. It is a kit from the 1,33L M282 Daimler engine.
Is it worth to think about how to adapt this kit to a 12G295 head, or is it total stupid thinking?

I'd suggest that it's impossible. Any turbo that has the manifold cast into the turbine is a non-starter.

Also, not sure what the big black box is. If it's some form of electronic actuator it could be a pain.

Why not just use one of the well proven turbos often used on minis?

thanks wil, that was my fear too.
@jonny, because this piece is for free for me *happy*
But it make no sense if it will not work.

How far away is the manifold spacing from an A series one? It appears to have three ports, and is free.

A lot of the projects on here don't make sense, but we all like the challenge

Maybe selfmade manifold pipes between head and turbo is possible.

You are kidding yourself if you think it is feasible to fit that on an A series head.
Don't waste any more of your time.
