HT Lead retaining clips.

Afternoon all, this is one for the more OCD minded amount us.

Many years ago when I first fitted Megajolt to the car, the Fiesta I sourced the parts from had some very simple / asthetcly pleasing HT lead clips which I used. As the years have wore on (cough.......10 of them) and the car has been in various states of build and combined with house garage and workshop moves I cant find any of the spare I had.

Local Scrap yards are a little short of MK3 Fiestas and I cant find anything that I’d be happy to use.
Does anyone have any suggestions on a source of something that may be a solution.

I purchased some from an online lead supllier for the lead size I have and I cant sleep with how the clip bows when loaded.

Any suggestions welcome.

Can you open up the holes slightly on the new clips so it sits square when the leads are in it?

Hi Tom,
I have tried to ream them out slightly but with mixed success. As they are so flexible the edges got caught in the flutes of the reamer.
I was tempted to have a second attempt with some round bar in the lathe chuck with fine emery stuck to it if I can’t find an off the shelf solution.

Not a chance, it just means I’m avoiding doing something significant.

I think the ones i'm using were off the escort that donated the EDIS stuff
