998 Metro rods

I,m building an inline 998 engine intended to be a bit of a screamer and the first step is to bore the 948 block to 998 .

I could use the mini pinch bolt rods but the choice of pistons seems better with the fully floating type rods, so does anyone have a set or know where I might find a set, please.?

A source of pistons might be a good thing to have too.

I did consider another way to increase capacity by using a 1098 crank in the 948 block but that would pop the pistons about 4mm out of the block !

hi there tagent, i have a set of 998 A+ rods they are press fit and have pistons on them in good condition if your boring your block i think to 998 then a new ring pack for them and your away.......... if you are interested please le me know

i also have a 998 A+ block transverse with a camshaft with a little surface rust but its standard and in good condition, i am sure the bolt pattern would fit inline engine or be modded but not 100% sure

Which pistons please ?
If they are 4 ring I don,t think they will do.
And - got a figure in mind ?
