I have a small brise alternator for sale

This is FORD country, on a quiet day you can hear Vauxhalls rusting.

I’ve bought and returned two eBay units that claimed to be 55a and 60a. Both put out 40a when tested. Both also came in the same boxes. One had a BS “test certificate” in the box, the other nothing.
I recommend you verify, especially if you pay a premium. Big Carbon pile testers are under 50 quid and essential.
Ultimately I took a punt on a Bosch boxed reman unit and it puts out 55a. I don’t think you can reliably get more than that out of the tiny (106mm?) units. The 116mm units seem to be a lot more consistently available in 65-80a outputs.
