Renewed Enthusiasm

The enthusiasm continues despite some expenses.
After pulling apart the engine, it would appear that rust had got to every part that should be shiney and slippery. Even crank journals and gugeon pins.
So it is now rebored and re ground and i plan to rebuild it swiftly before winter depleats the current belief that the car may move under its own power sometime soon.
1 small questuon tho. I have painted the block in vintage green instead of the original A plus Red, approximately how much power is this likely to cost me?? I will be happy with a nimble 100hp but accept that removing the red paint will likely cost me heavily. Some of the red paint is still on the block and is simply covered by the green, does this help to reduce the negative effect??
Advice appreciated.

eBay Chinese core (CHRA). They work a treat.

i have looked at them ..... but i'm questioning the quality
for another £100 i can get a Mellet CHRA

(i know made in china but under tighter controls)

looking further at the turbo the hot side had what appeared to be the leftovers of someones pistons that had melted and filled the gaps up on the hot side effectively welding the CHRA on so it was worth breaking it
