Hi been searching old posts and can't find the answer I'm looking for sounds like genuine payen copper gasket is the way to go .Is it possible to have work done to the head /block and then use 1275 bk450 gasket if so what needs doing thanks Pete

It depends.

If you are using a 12G940 type head (large bore) then, yes, you can use a BK450 (Or any suitable large bore head gasket, AF460 etc).

If you have a small boar head, 12G202, 12GH295 etc, then you have to use a small bore head gasket. This is because the large bore fire ring interferes with some water holes in the small bore head and fills your cylinders with water.

Thanks that's the info I'm after I'm using a 295 head.seen that gasket on minispares think I will try that
