I'm please to confirm my involvement in race engines with a now 142 bhp in a 1293 MG Midget - single 48
My supercharged unit is producing 160bhp with the SC Super charger unit - such a neat installation
The 8 port 1380 sprint car is now 155bhp with carbs using Weber Alpha ignition

My turbo unit on Jersey with 196 bhp now holds the hill record for under 2.0Lt

I have 225 BHP from Pinto 2.2 all steel on twin 45's in a Mk 2 Escort#

and am building a Mini 30 with a short stroke 1300 currently for track days for me Yay

you get a lot of result from your engines ian, it goes without saying you put alot of skills and effort into them.

what you expect from the short stroker .......... is it a 1220cc

My race short stroke was 1297 and I was lapping Brands Indy Circuit at 53.7 secs in 1979 My car was all steel with subframes back and front and based on a 1968 Cooper S
As far as I know, no one in a Mini at Goodwood has come close to my standing lap record, Castle Coombe was 1min 9 secs.
my engine was never tested for total power output.

The race against DM was fantastic as we had the crowds on their feet
