What is the general principle of how to choose a length?

I’d say you would want to go for the shortest spring that will get the job done, so you stay away from the possibility of it going coil bound. Use a helper if needed to keep it on the spring platforms under full droop.

i tend to go for around 1.5 to 2" upward compression of the spring as you let it off the jack . Edited by robert on 1st May, 2018. Medusa + injection = too much torque for the dyno ..https://youtu.be/qg5o0_tJxYM |
