Hi all,

Selling my 1310 engine but unsure if to sell complete or strip and sell the head, short engine and gearbox separate?

Would I get less if I parted it out compared to selling complete?

some more detail would help. what parts etc are fitted. I would say most of the time you would be better of selling stripped down.

My sister is so fit I won't show anyone her picture

If the parts are desirable you'll probably make more splitting it.
As above, more detail needed.

Phil.

if i was buying an engine, I would at least want the head off, and the box off i i could see that it is in decent condition, or even what is up for sale...

seen too many people buy "full race" engines that are just standard with a head and cam thrown at them.

The main thing that makes me think to part it out is because people won’t buy on description alone and like you say they would want to see it for themselves.
