I was thinking of doing a group buy for SC 7 port cylinder heads. Thinking I could possibly get them for around £1400 each, possibly, with around 4/5 people firmly willing to buy. What are peoples thoughts on this? On 18th Nov, 2014 D4VE said:

I agree, you really need to strike a deal before offering something. Fastest 998 mini in the world? 13.05 1/4 mile 106mph

When I last spoke to John, he suggested that the 7port heads and billet radius arms were more of a show piece and were sold at pretty tight margins. With this in mind, I’d doubt that they would offer discounts for group buys. In the 13's at last!.. Just |

Was just a thought really. I'll see what they say. I will probably go heavily modified 5 port anyhoo, for now, and go 7 port injection later on. :/ Still got a huge list of parts to buy. On 18th Nov, 2014 D4VE said:

That is a pretty good discount to be fair! If something is worth doing, it's worth doing half of. |

At those sorts of prices, I think I'd still go with the Arden. You get more ports ofr your money On 26th Oct, 2004 TurboDave16v said:

I'm not sure you do. The arden is not an amazing head, and you need a special cam and exhaust manifold.

I'd agree with this, and I have 2! The costs of the associated special parts you need soon makes it really bloody expensive. even worse when you have a lot of good 5 port bits you cant use on it.
