It was a really good day with no issues. And the next day I pulled the motor ready for the next motor I am preparing 😉.
But that motor I was using is a Benross built engine which is phenomenal. I have only been running it on 10psi and it just does the job great.

What spec was that engine? How many horses was 10 psi giving you?

I had it on the dyno at sleaths before combe last year and it made 172 at 13psi.
It's a 1293, 10cc cast omegas, benross head, 8.5cr.,
Ph2 cam timed at 108, gt1752, matty manifold, playmini 2inch, 4x4 cossy intercooler, front mount rad with a Davies pump and a lovely big oil cooler. Aem tru boost controller that does the job fine.
Swifty drops, clubman gear set and atb diff.
And a very heavy right foot!

I just used a bike phone mount and clamped it to the roll cage with my Samsung s8+. It actually turned out far better than i was expecting. I need to adjust the angle better next time.

I was thinking the same rick 😂. But it was interesting for sure watching him getting the heat into them boots. I was more pissed off than him that the mig bust, I was really looking forward to having a blast with it.
Rich will have that rocket back out on track in no time.

I really need to get my mini back on the road. All I got to do is sort out the headlights. Think it's a bad earth. And really fit the engine! Then mot which should be fine as it's done about 500 miles since last mot lol.
Oh a a rr tune up 😆

Get it finished Josh and don't miss out on this summer. Get it on them rollers As soon as its running mate.
I built mine to play with, it's not a minter but i prefer to use it on track than show it.
Keep us all informed of how you get on and I am sure you will be soon showing them expensive German cars how to go round a track fast.
