thought I should probably start a thread as im getting stuck into the build now. i think its been a month since i had it blasted so time to get a wiggle on.

The plan is to take standard front subframe, picked up off the cage, rear beam, stripped out inside, and to weigh 550kg or less.

Engine is a pretty standard lump with T3

Cage is based on a safety devises one,

anyway here are some photos of where I am at, any thoughts or problems you can see please point them out!! especially if it will make it lighter!

Got anything supporting the boot floor? May resonate being so big and flat.

nothing yet, it will 1oo% flap if left as is, for the main floor I'm going to shrink it and then go down to it with gussets, I'm planning to put the fuel tank under the boot floor so wil have to somehow brace it at that point, if the tank ends up on top of the boot floor i will stich in some box to level it out and stiffen it up :)

That fg silhouette woulda looked better

ahah, i looked at a lot of the maguire ones on youtube but im yet to see one that dosent flap about at speed lol, also i thought if i keep a bit of the shell i can still claim it as a road car !
