Currently got a engine the stand this is the spec
1312 1.5 roller rockets 266 Kent cam new followers
Head has 29.5 exhaust and 35.6 inlet new guides and seats cut to suit
The head has been skimmed to give 10:5 compression
As far as I'm aware the deck is standard (hasn't been decked)
Currently have 21253 pistons fitted from mini spares which they told me are roughly 8cc
My question is how can I lower my compression enough to be able to turbo and run 150bhp
Don't want the use of a decomp plate
What would med 18cc pistions leave me with?
Can I still have my valve chambers opened up even though I have had the seats already cut
Can the head still be ported and flowed?

you might just be able to get enough out of the head to run those pistons, almost certainly if you get the pistons dished out a bit too.

18cc pistons would get you to about 8.3:1

what specs the head? it might be easier just to swap the head, bit if the head is decently ported then it would be worth getting the chambers done,

last time I looked taking head chambers out was 80-100 quid depending how far, and dishing pistons bigger was about 40-50 quid,

the 21253's are pretty sturdy so they would be fine for 150 hp

The head has been skimmed with the valves and rockers fitted as above and that's it it's hasn't had any porting or flowing and no chamber work

You can take half a mill out of the of the combustion chamber. If your really want to lower it easily use a cosmetic head gasket
