I'm assuming I will get very mixed opinions on this one 😁..

Just looking into it and this is the best place to ask.

Yes or no

If you have put nitrous in your mini is it worth it (obviously this is a fun toy not a daily)

What setup did you use and do you have photos of it etc

Thanks in advance...

Ps if you ask why would you.... answer is why not 😉

well, theres been a few people on here using it to good effect, most notably, Carl Austin on the Don, Steve1275 on his midget, and Miniwilliams,

generally the concensus is to use Wizards of NOS equipment, i think they start you with smaller jets ( 20hp) and go from there rather than letting you destroy it straight off.

The results can be very impressive.

I found it to be a whole load of faff. To be of any use just to jump in the car and go for a drive. I ended up with vent solenoid a in line shut off valves, cylinder heaters, pressure switches and progressive controllers.

If you're planning a simple installation with a single fogger nozzle, that would be the better option. My only advice would be to install some sort of blow off or rupture disc on the manifold so that when you do get a nitrous fart it will limit the damage😆

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

actually fitted a couple systems, never had an issue, wizards of nos would be my first choice ( as there about 6 miles from me lol )

biggest bang for your buck BUT, you have to keep refilling it so at some point it gets to the point where a different power adder would have been cheaper

Agree with the above. Use WON, keep it simple, NOS is now £8 per lb I use about half lb every run at the strip with 50 bhp nozzles.

The nozzle for fuel and NOS goes into the inlet about a foot before the plenum, on a section that runs uphill to the engine so that any liquid NOS drains away from the engine. The solenoids are on the inner wing, operated by a WOT microswitch on the carb. I took the fuel feed out from the line before the fuel regulator, this may give too much fuel pressure as it runs very rich on NOS, but safer that way. NOS bottle is in the boot. Nominal 50 bhp jets give about 60 on the RR. Hope this helps.

I used it on my Turbo mainly to get the T3 to spool quicker, and then on the top end, used a NOS system from the usa, had a nice simple programable controller that was very adjustable, was it worth it, yes for the straight lines, no on the road.
