Hi,

I would just like to share that mine and my younger bros turbo'd mini is featured in this months (July issue) Mini Magazine.
If you get a copy have a read and let me know what you think. It would be good to get your thoughts.

It's taking us over 3 years to complete with much help from folk on this forum (too many to list) and I am absolutely over the moon it made the feature car.

Cheers Guys.

cheers Matty, really appreciate your comments. Yep the dyno guy did mention it's a strong engine capable of a lot more - thanks to Benross - he did an excellent job. I highly recommend him if you need your engine doing.

Superb build, I think you guys nailed the underbonnet appearance.

Interior/exterior wise I think you're 95% there. Again my opinion, but I think the Mk1 theme gets lost amongst all the brash statements; big wheels, big arches, big seats, flashy lights....and as I love the less is more character of the Mk1 I think toning things down a bit makes it even better!

Cheers for your comments Evoderby.
We were aiming for a mk1 look with some modern bits like the arches, but wanted to keep 10" wheels. In the future for the next mini, it would be nice to go for a historic racer look as we both like this. Definitely prefer the mk1 features over the later mini looks.

Looking good but being picky for such a nice car swap out that exhaust clamp :)

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

its a lot more tamed for you now Will! *wink*
Waiting for you to test it out again as I think we have cracked the torque steer issue. The ball joints were to too tight when you drove it. :)

I use a stainless mikalor clamp.
