Hi

I'm currently making a rts clutch set up. I'll need it balanced in the next few weeks hopefully.
Does anyone know of any places that can balance flywheels?

Also when I take it will I need to bolt it all together as if it was about to go on the engine?

Regards,
Josh

Are these a bit closer? - south of Bedford, just off the A6.
I took it assembled.
Can't remember for the life of me how much it was though.

Cheers mate. Did they do it while you waited? Or did they have it for a few days?

Send it to AC Dodd. Leave the plate in and at the same time ask him to machine the horns down so the spring is almost flat. He made a nice job of mine.

Cos if the spring aint flat you would be wasting your time, which was my mistake

Surely shortening the spacers would do the same thing as machining the horns?

How much did you machine off?

I had aprox 35 thou machined off the horns. It will depend on how thick your clutch plate is. They vary in thickness.
