I once sent my RTS to be balanced and that lovely chap from MED just slagged it off.
AC Dodd balanced it instead and thought it was alright.

Nice bit of credit in the latest MiniMag from Keith Calver who praised the RTS and promised a future article on it by the sounds of it. Good to have some positivity

Had mine balanced at KAD. They liked it.

Weird to complain, it's quite common with lots of clutches to use 2 diaphragm springs.


I had one 10 years ago in my car, OSGiken do it, I've seen others too, although can't recall which brands.

Not DIY of course, but same deal.

But who knows...maybe MED will start copying it now.

Cant remember the exact words but the rude one at MED was a bit rude about the credibility of the RTS. Hope he reads Minimag😀

Slightly off topic, how much was it to balance that bad boy?

I think 70 quid including maching the horns on the flywheel to how they needed to be. Money well spent AC Dodd
