You don't have to do anything in particular to the block itself. You ideally need to consider fitting some better pistons than the standard ones unless you plan on keeping the boost conservative.

need to figure out how to return the oil to the sump.

May be possible to use the cam sensor hole, but it will be higher up in the block than the old fuel pump hole was on the A+ block

Is it A-Series only? I think it should be...
So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

Good call Col ! Never thought about that. What about as high up on the gearbox casing as possible ? I'm pretty sure Jimster ? Had his like this at some point.

All depends on what you want from the car.

It's been covered quite a few times before chap. Have a search around and youll soon pick up all the info you need.

You can use the standard cam. Avonbar ph2, Kent 266, MG metro are all good cams to for a turbo.

Your head probably won't be much good as you'll need to lower the compression ratio. Stage 4 will probably be high compression.

On my MPI the oil return is fitted in the top of the gearbox - as the hole for the cam sensor sits to high...

as above the oil drain is the biggest issue,

another problem is no dizzy, but thats an obvious one, and I imagine youve already concluded that ylou'll need to run an ecu for the spark.

the alternator mount may also be a problem as its mounted to the head on the MPI, so it would need thinking about.

MPI cam is probably fairly decent for turbo,

Oil drain can go to the camshaft hole but is tight
I got two straight piped turbo oil drains and modified one to bolt on the camshaft sensor place
The snubbed both off until there was enough room for a decent jubilee clip
Then 90 degree silicone pipe

Didn't want to make holes in the gearbox!
Will post some pictures up if I can figure it out

There is also the option of removing the speedo drive and going there
