Greetings..

I have an intercooler set up and now woking on air filter piping and routing... the thing is, as I'm using alloy tube with silicone bends I have nowhere to fix all the piping to. Its all a bit wobbly when moved by hand.. just after a few ideas really a how to make them fairly solid by fixing somehow.. preferably without looking rough if I can..

Any thoughts?

Don't try to nail it down too much. The engine will move and the pipes will expand a little on a decent amount of boost. Allow it to move a little without flopping about. Mount the intercooler to something then work back.

Yeah looking at how to mount the intercooler also.. I was even toying with the ideas of jubilee clips at various locations on the pipework fixed somewhere? Cant imagine that though looking decent...

You could if the intercooler sits in the right place fix straps/brackets to the head studs. That way the intercooler moves with the engine, reducing the chance of boost hoses moving or coming off.
