This looks amazing to me.

Would be interesting to see what power they rate it to.

The new casting looks very very good.

Can see them being adopted in the new mini 7 libre class if the rules allow and they can withstand big power. They'll all be pushing 200+ bhp u'd imagine.

Be interesting to know if its an overdrive 5th or 1:1, I've never understood the need for 1:1 if you've already got a high first gear, the gears are close enough already. Always thought you'd get more from a bit more speed on some straighter tracks

would be interesting to see if a helical gearset would fit that new casing, and how much stronger it'd be...

Yeah, I asked about 4 speed vesion, but with minispares new helical kit it would be interesting... expensive but interesting.

Warwick.

I really want one, just for the sequential gear selection. But talking about new casings, gear sets and such, ka-ching! I'm sure I wont be able to afford any time soon

The problem with the libra class is it's not meant to be building the ultimate mini , the class is there to introduce others into the mini7 club , they are going to implement a bigger weight limit as well as putting time penalties on etc to keep the racing competitive and so the migs still come out on top

Being a rod 'box they're not AppK Historic compatible, so can't be used on any of their £25k units for that purpose.

I've heard £6,000 and probably pls VAT.

Metric is for people who can't do fractions.

There must be a market for it if they are making it.

Lot of work there for just showing off.

Personally I would love one! Just no doubt out of my wallets reach lol.

interestingly that casting seems to have the "nubbin" for the remote change shaft... I'm wondering if they have planed on a remote 4 speed version.

I just love my H-pattern, always lose count with sequential*wink*

The only real advantage I see with the swiftune kit is being able to run a good top speed in 5th in combination with a final drive that doesn't make the 2.3 1st gear too long.
