Hi

Long time lurker, been reading up and decided to reduce costs by creating my own manifold. I read the GT15 turbo is good for a 998 (which is what ill be doing) but manifolds seem hard to come by in triangular shape flange..
ive knocked up a flange in CAD and printed in 3D just for sizing sake (only 3mm deep for printing, real would be thicker) so i can to work and see if i can replicate.
i can attach the file if anyone else is interested but use at own risk, im not a pro!
Dont suppose anyone has CAD files for the exhaust flanges?!

edit.... link for gt15 turbo specs where i got the info from

http://turbochargerspecs.blogspot.co.uk/20...-hp-turbos.html

thanks

Looks good *happy*

Don't suppose you have the exhaust/inlet gasket?

Sorry to jump in here. But no one has a drawing of the space between engine and footplate firewall. ..

you can do anything if you set your mind to it...
i rather blow it up winning than keep it together losing.

finish date set for project 1... march 2018

hi,
I've done the same a year or so ago! just make sure that the drawing on the website you linked are the same as the turbo you have as there's slight/minor differences between the different gt15 models.

http://www.turbominis.co.uk/forums/index.php?p=vt&tid=592719

I got these cut (see link above) last year and I think I still have some somewhere, these fit the turbo in the photo.

but I have another set of flanges I got cut before that were from the drawings you linked that don't fit mine... *frown*

They look good

The website shows the flange, both gt15 are slightly different. I wonder if it's for the different model of car that uses them

If anyone needs any laser cutting done I have an account with a firm I use and they are really good. Last thing I made was some Super Charger Flanges :)
