I've got an A+ engine with the distributor that plugs into the loom.
im fitting it to an earlier car.
i dont hâve any other A+ distributors but have a couple of A series one,
so will i be able to use these or must i find an A+ type?

Only A+ will fit in an A+ block.

Easiest way is to do a little re-wiring, it's dead easy.
