probably not that light, probably heavier than standard. but dosent have the relief valve so wont pass unfiltered oil to the bearings

I think what he's on about is a rod gearbox remote housing.

Not seen or tried one but I'm sure endaf would give you the weight.

cheers, yeah I meant the selector housing, ill ask him, i cant see it being much lighter than standard with holes everywhere aha!

It doesn't look like it, but do any of the housings in the above links offset the oil filter towards the starter motor more than the factory one, or any others that folks may know of?

I'm trying to put my alternator right at the bottom, and a small amount of additional clearance would really help.

all the ones Ive seen just come straight out, how much are you looking to rind space wise? some of those have a pretty fat block flange, would maybe skim it at an angle,

RE drill and stuff a counter bore up em to get em flat.

Screw installing a remote adaptor, a remote housing, and one extra hose to fix a simple problem,
I'll just make my own filter housing.
