I was going to go down this route originally. I also looked into leather sofas and although technically leather, it's frequently low quality. Sometimes it's one hide split into 2 or more layers then the grain is embossed back on to it. It's normally already has a plastic coating to make it durable - I don't know how well another paint on top would last. Depending on how thick it is, you'd need a heavy duty sewing machine.

Comment about quality is very apposite as is the mention of lacquer.

Cant see the picture. But maybe back to some shops for vinyl then... you can do anything if you set your mind to it...

Just can't deside what color seats and Carpet i want with a florida green traveller. Hard to match something that has that thing to it... you can do anything if you set your mind to it...
