Back home after a fantasic MITP weekend.. a leaking exhaust manifold again*frown* It's the 5th blown manifold gasket (MPi gasket).

I'm looking for a set of stainless steel flanges, weld them on the manifold I'm already using. We made flanges by ourselfs which are the problem (picture attached)

I know they are supplied with the Mirage manifold kits. Is their anyone who can make/supply them? A complete Mirage Manifold kit should be fine too.

Was nice to meet you.

Swiftune do a nice big 'race' manifold gasket, although I guess it's not the gasket that's the issue.

Was that your skyline Brett? His car was the one with a screamer pipe.

is the gasket blowing in the same place each time?

I suspect it manifold "bend"" rather than the flanges.

I never had a gasket go on my home made manifold, and that was using the large bore gasket taken out even furthur. I made those flanges with a hacksaw and a file

Thanks Jonathan, I've ordered the Swiftune gaskets.. Maybe this will help.

As you can see on the picture attached the manifold isn't matching the cylinder head. I had the idea to fix this by welding new flanges on the manifold.
