I recently found a very compact thermostat housing found the Kawasaki ninja 250. 18.5mm ID pipes, and hey small thermostat (which I now understand is a typical motorcycle thermostat).
Another advantage of the ninja thermostat housing is it's symmetrical, meaning you can rotate the pipes to be facing the same direction or opposite directions. What is everyone's thoughts on these small thermostats? Will they flow enough?

Ive used the ducati cartridge succesfully, but gone back to using a mini stat between two housings, more for simplicity of obtaining spares...... people at mini events will likely have a spare stat and gasket if you were desperate.

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

You have also Land Rover, MGB and BMW 1602/2002 and on these you have temperature choice.

other day someone show me the R5 thermostat unfortunately wont fit the 1" mini pipe.

An R5 one might work, as mini hoses are 32mm and the R5 is very similer to that.
