I have been told by a good friend (that works there) on Saturday there will be a big sale of what's left.

So what caused this? I'm a ways from the scene so don't keep up to date with the rumours and what-not.

apparently his wife buggered of a while ago and he hit the bottle.

If anyones going to this would they be able to do me a massive favour, and pick something up for me. Will need to check if its available still.

I wonder if they still have that 6 speed dog box in the display cabinet...could get a bargain there!

Simon is there any way you could find out through your mate what kind of discounts to expect and what kinds of parts they have left in stock? whether its panels, service items, performance parts, engine and gearbox internals, KAD parts?

Currently trying to decide if its worth the long trip to stock up for the current project

I tried calling but understandably theyre not answering

I found a facebook event for the sale and read that a guy that went on saturday was sorely disappointed, it seems all the good stuff was sold off in bulk to traders before the sale.

I went a long and there was lots of "good stuff" there and for very cheep... You just had to look for it!

I seen a full genuine CF front end go out the door for around £350

The traders was let in the door the same time as everyone else, I am not sure what people was expecting tbh, as most if not all the stuff was less then 1/2 price.

Shame, but I having done a ton of milage last week, was a bit too far for me on the off chance there was some good stuff. Better phone on monday in the hope that the flywheel i'm after is available.
