Kind of, I need the non-insulated type as they fit into a plastic plug moulding.

Rod, I thought the same and got some speaker spades to try, they don't fit and are 2.8mm or 4.8mm for the larger type. I found the first and third links last night but don't trust either of them to be correct. Digikey list their terminals by inch sizes and do list 0.110 which equates to 2.8mm.

I take your point Tom, I had always assumed car speaker ones were 1/8" as the standard Lucar spades are 1/4" so I assumed they would just be half the size.

Thats a reasonable call actually regards postage, I need some more general wiring consumables for my stock so may look to order enough to lose the post charge. Is it £50 spend for free post?

Is it £50 spend for free post? Yes. Mouser is the other large USA based supplier who now have a UK website for ordering and they have reduced their minimum order for free postage to £33. I was going to give them a try next time I have either a large order or something I want that Farnell don't stock. http://www.mouser.co.uk/ProductDetail/TE-C...fWdGOk8VucOE%3d Schrödinger's cat - so which one am I ??? |
