Hello all

This is my second Mini Turbo project (the first was 16 years ago and was stolen ). She is a white 1996 mayfair auto in stunning (virtually rust free) condition and i plan on converting her to a manual with 1293 turbo (omega cast and modified head to lower cr to 8.3:1) unit running a gt1752 carb setup @ 11psi (looking for a relaxed 115bhp ish). I look forward to reading posts and contributing what i can.

Those jap imports are pretty good. A mate had had a few through his hands in the past year or so and were pretty mint. Could well be tempted if I start a new project as a basis

Hello!mines a 96 jap import,the same spec, 1293 omegas gt1752 , same cr, home ported head I had 134bhp at 10psi, now running 15ish, if you leave boost at 11 I'd set cr at 9.1 with intercooler.

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.
VEMS + 12 PSI + Liquid Intercooler = Small Bore FUN!

Thanks all - interesting to hear 134bhp - i would be extremely happy with anything close to that - must be a flying machine at 15psi

Problem is you soon get used to it very quickly then you want more.
