I personally felt a bit embarrassed for Chris. It would've been nice for him to maintain his own personality rather than assume some weird semi-clarkson style persona.

Very awkward first show, they are not relaxed, but then it took the last lot ages to get that relaxed.

See how it goes but it will need to get better, the challenges look very soft

I run a supercharger and I don't care the TB is on the wrong side.

Not great. Same old crap.

Didn't get the Rialto bit. When clarkson used one previously it was quite funny. Needed to top that at least.

All I've seen today is people saying how bad Chris was. I'm not a massive fan of his really apart from what he does for charity so we didn't watch it anyway. Top Gear has been pretty stale for a while though, only doing a few episodes a year didn't help towards the end I don't think. I might give GT a go, depends if it's on near Christmas which is the only time of year I have Amazon prime!

The Clarkson era first series took time to get going. I'm half way through this first episode and quite frankly think it is on par.

The old format was stale, I was hoping this was the big chance to try something new, instead we got more of the same just with different presenters. Disappointing that they were not brave enough to take the opportunity to try something new.

Yeah, they should deffo change it up a bit lot!

I turned it off about halfway, it was a bit cringey. They should have been able to use the top gear name and that's it, them doing some of the old features wasn't great
