having some trouble with oil in the clutch housing the thrust was at about 8 thou and the running clearance about 4 thou

its now at about 3 thou thrust but still the same 4 thou running clearance is this ok or do i need to change it?

what do you guys look for or chose to have?

cheers

i should say that its straight gears on a 1098cc and that the seal was a good aftermarket one also that there was a crack in the clutch casting near the idler bearing pocket but with all that said honestly i believe the gear clearances are to blame and im willing to have the crank ground and new bushings turned pressed n reamed to the best clearance to stop this oil mess from destroying another clutch and costing more cash and hassle

might as well have an old worn out 850cc ... its about that fun to drive with an oil soaked clutch.. few pound of boost and its on the rev limiter

it was an AP friction plate and double grey
