Not sure if any of you have seen these tyres before, they do a 195/50r13 and 225/45 r13 which is fully road legal.

Nankang also do 175/50r13 and 185/60 ns2r's fully road legal.

Though it may be of use to a few on here.

Paul.

I,m using Federal tyres on my MX5 for track days. These are the control tyre for the MX5 Cup race series.

Not a name that I would have thought suitable but they doe stick like shit to a blanket.

federal 595 are decent, seemed better than my nankang ns2r in the wet.
My brother could out corner me easily on them.

Dmack is doing loads of tyres for the WRC and uk rally championships. As for how they fare up a guy on metro power has purchased some (195/50)

As for the nankang ns2r, I have got some for the metro and quite a few on metro power and the clio sport forums run them and rated highly.

Both tyres are fully road legal, dmack has to be for WRC regs, the nankang ' s are as well fully road legal (as are the new toyo r888 tyres)

Brett, toyo also do a 225/45 r13 *wink*

Rob, used the tyre on a different car and they were really good, about half of the metro power boys are using them now. They are good value for mone and readily available. I have just ordered 2 more for my tro

Do Nankang do those in a 10" wheel size?

So when some joey comes on here about how his 16v turbo vauxhall is great compared to ours, he can be given the 'bird'...

No sprocket, smallest they do is 175/50r13.

They are releasing an even stickier tyre soon the AR-1 in the 13" tyres size.

Rob one thing to remember is you will most likely have to grind some of your radious arm and bracket due to the 185/60r13 size if using standard wheels, higher offset wheels get away without mods but due to having 8mm tread they are taller than the r888

Thanks Paul. Likely to be running standard metro wheels so will look at the clearance.

I'm pretty limited with tyre choice to be honest. Only the YOKO 539's are on the list

Just a few there are more, personally for a bit of fettling I would go for 185/60

Looks like the ns-2r will be the tyreof choice. Cant justify the additional cost at this time for the toyos

Rob the R888s are chunky as fuck
I would guess if your going from regular tyres to R888s the arches may be an issue
Radious arms and shockers / coilovers may foul too depending on wheel offset
