Where do you guys buy your leads for megajolt from? The set I have now are absolutely ridiculous because they are so long from Euro. Poor guys running a bit rough so new plugs and leads tonight to see if that helps as I've checked all the other culprits! The type I have atm DON'T (Carl being a durr and telling me false information!) clips on to the coil pack btw!

I got these for the metro; they are long enough to take the leads over to the inner wing where the coil pack is mounted and not far off the same distance as the mini

I also bought plugs from the same source; don't know about you guys but I used to pay £3.50 for 4 years back.

I've got a fiesta coil pack now as it was playing up before so I changed it. Even the shortest one of my set are too long really!
Does anyone else have a fiesta coil pack?

if you look at the description, it gives you lengths of the leads; may be worth a bit of a search on their site to identify the shorter set

I went to Halfords and got two sets of leads cheep with a card, then had the 4 short ones out of them, easy fix

I have started posting on Instagram also my name on there is turbomk1golf

Nothing is impossible it just costs more and takes longer.

That type fitted the old coil pack I had, Carls confused the hell out of me saying one thing then another! I've attached an image for the type I've got now! They are between 76cm and 93cm accommodation to the Euro website haha! I don't really need them to be any longer than 45cm

Pretty sure my coil pack came from a Focus, with a set of leads that clipped on properly. Trimmed the spark plug end to length then used new terminals and covers from here:

From Sheffield now live in York tha noz

For an exceptionally clever bloke you do have some daft suggestions, all she needs to do is leave the coil pack and wrap the leads round the crank pulley to take up the slack surely?

Always two! Haha. As I'm changing them anyway I'm just wondering if there's actually shorter ones I can buy without having to cut and put new ends on them. Might just live with them and then buy a KA coil pack when the engine comes out for a tidy up!

Why not just buy the ends and shorten the leads. Yours will be second Gen at a guess.

That's what I did and was easy enough, plus I was able to put 90 degree ends on rather than the straight Ford ends.

Yeah it looks like that's what I'll have to do if I can't get shorter ones off the shelve. I did buy some ends before but they arrived and looked horrible so I never bothered doing it. Carl found me some better looking ends earlier so I've ordered some to just cut new leads on to. Fingers crossed he's running as normal after changing them!
