With a heavy heart I think this is the correct decision. The car doesn't get used and lives outside which will only make it get worse and worse.

So, any idea what my car is worth?

Good bits:
Just MOTed
1275 engine with roller rockers
7.5" brakes
10" GB minilites fitted with A008's
Gaz shocks
Hi-los
Fibreglass front end, and separate bonnet.
Perspex windows with sliders in the front.
New clutch (well, will have when I get time to fit!)
I'll throw in a breathable car-cover

Bad bits:
Needs a tune up
Needs the front-end and boot to be painted
Needs a speedo cable (or someone to fix the one that is there)
Needs a bit of a tidy up everywhere.
Plenty of rattles etc.
MOT advisory was some rust on the floor pans from the underside, but looks fine from above.

Minis are very hard to value these days, but judging by some of the rubbish about, i'd say -anywhere between £2500 and £3500

I think you would get 3k for it easy. I would start at around 3500-3800 and drop it down if you don't get any nibbles.

It's a very nice on the eye car. They seem to pull a bit more money at the moment looking retro with 10's.

Thanks guys - very flattering, but I'm not sure I agree tbh. It looks way better in the photos than it does in real life. The close up of the wing is one to look at - it shows the shitty finish and sums up the car. It's fun, but it's not pretty!

I suppose the only thing against a good price is the time of year. Spring would be a better time to sell

Swansea boyo!

I'd say 2500-3000 for a 1275 with an MOT, people are trying to sell projects for 1500-2k these days! I can see a lot of bubbling/areas I would sort out straight after winter so if it looks better in the photos than it actually is maybe closer to 2000-2500 because someone would still have to spend a lot of money afterwards. I'm always sad to see people sell their minis, I thought I could get rid of mine once but I couldn't. Hopefully there's an alternative and you can find somewhere to keep it!

They don't die, they just get faster!
