Just went to start my engine after my Podifold install and I have realised my old silver top facet 4.5 psi pump isn't pumping ( been left standing empty for 12 months). So, going to need a new pump. Just wondered what would be the best if I run the charger up to about 9 psi on boost, because the comp facet silver top goes to about 6psi. What do you turbo chaps use? Cheers

please note I'll be setting my malpassi turbo reg to 3 psi on idle

Unless your setup is blow through, it will have completely different requirements to a turbo build.

I'm assuming your setup is suck through as your old pump wouldn't work on a blow through setup.

Its blow through, using a turbo regulator.

Got an 8mm return. What sort of psi would an injection pump go to, 20psi? As I m running a metro turbo hif44, what did the metro run at I wonder

injection pumps can make 60 psi+,

basically you need boost pressure + about 4psi,

SPI tanks had a pump in that was only good for about 15psi, so most people with turbo's run out of fueling with them and stick a normal injection pump in.

Blimey. How was that working?

I've got a metro turbo pump and Sytec pre pump filter for sale that would do the job.

What psi would it go up to?

More than enough for your supercharger setup. The pump will not be your limiting factor.

It was good for around 20psi on mine.
