Well thanks guys! I fell in love with this a couple years back... ran into the guy at the petrol station once n swapped numbers... he WAS never gonna sell it.. but long story short its mine now!

Right so now weathers n shows are here n i went to use it few weeks back and nothing happend when i turned the key.. even connected to 2 other cars it wouldnt even jump! Battery was new so took it back they gave it full charge and said nowt wrong with that... still no joy so i took starter off and bench tested it, worked half the time? Cleaned it all up put it back on worked fine.. had started every time since UNTIL today! Went to work stopped at a friends on the way home went to start and nothing again! Sounds quite clearly like a dicky starter. If it only works 1/2 the time on the bench it won't be any better on the car!

Totally agree, should of mentioned that after cleaning i got it to work everytime on the bench before refitting, i am gonna see the ol' boys down at my local starter/alternator refurb place n see what they say n hopefully itll just need refurb On 24th Oct, 2015 jonny f said:

Yes mate the 200sx has moved on, just got the clio cup as a daily now, i spent so much time making the sx a really nice clean example just to have all my work undone because i see it a few weeks later and the dials that i hid in the glove box stealth style were stuck all on the dash wiring everywhere, chavvy steering wheel, filthy as hell and knackered tyres (they were new when i sold it so its safe to say it was getting cained!) But hey ho... its his car now, i ticked an SX off my list, had my fun and even made a grand!
